  Intentions are an important element within our lives

As humans we do a lot of negative self-talk and when most of us hear a c
ompliment we back off from it and make an excuses. Perhaps someone told you they liked your sweater and you say, "this old thing, it's been in my closet for years.​" Instead of just saying, "Thank you." If you like something that much to keep and take care of it for so long it's ok to accept a complement about something you enjoy and be grateful for the complement. 

Perhaps someone said, "Love your hair." Instead of accepting their positive words you say, "Oh, thanks but it's not what I intended or I need to get it cut." (Or some other negative thoughts) just say thank you and accept that it is a good hair day.

Try this when someone says they like something you did or something about you. Allow yourself to be grateful and say, "Thank you" and nothing more.  Start handing them out to strangers as well. Perhaps you admire a dress or a even a car. Tell people that you you like it or it looks good on them. Say, "Thank You" to a store employee or anyone in the service industry. That one little sentiment can turn someones day around and put not only you in a better mind-set but them.

Have you ever called a restaurant who prepared your food and you got delivery or pick-up. Call and tell them how much they made you day because you didn't' have to cook and you appreciate them. You'll most likely hear the smile on the other end of the phone.

Bottom line is we can accept a negative thought into our belief stronger then a positive thought. This is because of our own limiting belief system that we have created. The more you practice positive intentions and positive affirmations you can begin to erase those limiting believes.


AS you begin to change your thoughts you will begin to change your life and the way you look at it. 

Your Words to yourself are very powerful. So please choose your words and thoughts you use towards self and others carefully.
