What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of awareness and while in this relaxed state you are more open to positive suggestions that you create. While in a hypnotic state your memory and perception will be heightened. In turn this can act as a catalyst toward rapid healing, enhanced creativity along with countless other benefits for your growth.
What are some Common Misconceptions of Hypnosis
Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not sleep or a state of unconsciousness. While hypnotized you will generally hear and remember most of what has been said. You will never be out-of-control during your session and can freely choose to disregard any suggestions that are made to you due to the fact that only your suggestions will be stated to you. Hypnosis helps you to become more inclined to do things that you want to do.
Who should not be hypnotized?
Anyone who suffers from seizures (you should never attempt to be hypnotized) or those with a low IQ.
Does Hypnosis Really Work?
Yes. It is one of the most pleasant and natural alternative therapies available! In this relaxed state of well-being you are always in control of your own thoughts and your outcomes.

How Does Hypnosis Work?
A hypnotic state automatically occurs anytime you become deeply relaxed or highly focused (almost like daydreaming). Have you ever slipped into another world while driving your car or while reading a good book, or when you were watching an exciting movie? That’s hypnosis. When you wake up and go to sleep you pass through the theta state. That's when you hear things around you but you’re so pleasantly relaxed you don't care; that's what hypnosis feels like, pleasantly relaxed. While in this state you can create change within your life with Self-Hypnosis. Hypnosis is not about control it's about you changing negative habits and behaviors that you no longer want in your life.
What Does Hypnosis Feel Like?
It’s a feels like a pleasant state of deep relaxation. Imagine yourself sitting in your favorite chair with your eyes closed and not a care in the world. Feeling so relaxed, so peaceful. You may be aware of soft background noise but you're to relaxed to care.
Can I be Hypnotized?
Most people can be hypnotize. It's a natural state of being for us as humans. Those times when you are driving and all of a sudden you wonder how you've come upon your exit so fast. If you ever experienced deep thought such as day dreaming and time just slipping by without you realizing it. Then yes, you can be hypnotized.
Will I Get Stuck in Hypnosis?
Only if you have a role in a Hollywood movie. You always come back to your normal reality even if you do self-hypnosis at home the worst thing that could happen is a peaceful sleep. Remember you are always in control.
How many sessions do I have to commit to?
There are several different packages available but a minimum of 4 sessions is required. Coaching is included with each sessions. Please read, "Questions about coaching page." These sessions do not include regression sessions and all phone consultations are free.
There is a minimum of three sessions. Gerrie entwines her sessions together with coaching so that you can receive the best benefits for your life in two ways. All sessions are based on an individual needs.
Can I work with Geraldine for a special objective?
Yes. In fact that’s how she works her sessions. You can only tackle one endeavor at a time. That is why some clients choose to continue working with Geraldine after their initial goals are accomplished because her clients realize that they want to achieve more within their lives as they achieve each goals. Each person’s needs and situation are different.
Is a Deep State of Hypnosis Necessary for the Hypnosis to Work?
Absolutely not! A light trance is just as effective as a deep trance.
What Can Hypnosis Be Used For?
Hypnosis can be used for virtually anything.
